Who we are

Commercial Signs Incorporated, was started by Paul Merrills 45 years ago.  He had been in the business for about 15 years prior to that.  The business has always been a family business and with him retiring in 2002, the business was purchased by two of his children that had been employed since they were old enough to learn the alphabet.

Gerry Merrills is the president and Diana Chambers (sister) is the vice president.  Gerry and Diana have taken the business to the next level, by having approx. 9 full time employees.  Their father Paul and mother Pat Merrills still help each week, where needed.  It truly is family and all the customers are treated as part of that family and that is why we feel the business has grown and prospered in the 45 years.

Commercial Signs Inc. has continued to manufacturer Plastic, Neon and painted Signs and do installations. They also do a network with other sign companies who rely on others to install and build and cover a larger 10 state area.  Today they have expanded to doing High Rise signs, Large Awnings, and maintenance of signs, including parking lot lights, interior lighting and the newest electronics display boards and LED signs. You can count on Commercial Signs to be on the cutting edge of anything new.
